An innovative approach to jazz performance, featuring John Murnane (clarinet, saxophone, drums) and Steve Wilisch (saxophone, guitar, vocals)
We play a variety of duets using combinations of instruments. For example, we perform Duke Ellington’s “Mood Indigo” on soprano and tenor saxes followed by Ellington-favorite “It Don’t Mean a Thing If it Ain’t Got That Swing” on two tenors. A bossa nova medley might feature classical guitar, percussion and vocals. There’s always something new and exciting going on!
